<Mama's Garden Management Log> 2022/12/6

Mama's moving process is finally about 50% done T_T (though there's still a tiny bit of stuff left at the old apartment). But at least I won't have to keep bouncing back and forth between the forest and the city quite so intensely anymore. I had to cut a few things from the schedule again this week, and I'm really sorry about that... All the traveling back and forth has completely wrecked my back, my legs are dead from climbing so many stairs, and I still have to push through two full days at CWT62 this weekend. Considering my mental state, I decided it was best to take a little extra time to rest.
Once I wrapped up everything I was working on today... uh, yesterday(?), I promised myself I'd sleep in tomorrow until I wake up naturally!!! (Probably jinxing myself here.)
The good news is that I managed to negotiate a super sweet deal with the moving company, and they hauled all four of my large pieces of furniture over to the new place. When they showed up today, they packed everything so meticulously T_T I'm so incredibly grateful to them!! I originally wanted to sell my all-glass display cabinet, but since I live on the fourth floor and the buyer would have to carry it down themselves, no one really seemed interested. The movers wrapped it up incredibly tight today and got it to the new house in one piece—thank you guys so, so much!
Sneaking in a quick unpaid endorsement here... I ended up going with "I Want to Move O" on a whim. I bit the bullet and decided to hire movers at the very last minute, and I never expected them to be able to move me on the 6th when I only reached out on the 5th! I was honestly pretty worried at first, especially after reading so many horror stories in moving company reviews. But seeing how securely they wrapped the furniture and how steady they were while carrying it, I immediately felt at ease.
After the movers left, I spent a good chunk of time organizing my dolls and inhaling way too much dust. Since I haven't really played with them in over a year, the yellowing on the older ones has gotten a lot more noticeable (cries). Some of the custom outfits I had made for them had faux leather details, and they clearly couldn't stand the test of time—they basically crumbled into dust LOL. Once the new place is completely sorted out, I think I'll do a stream to properly introduce Mama REEF's oldest kids! The new place has plenty of room, so I eventually want to set up a dedicated doll area where they can all live comfortably ^_^ And then I'll definitely take some new photos of them!
And with that, I wrapped up the day surrounded by all sorts of deliveries > < Our merch for CWT is pretty much finalized, too! During the afternoon Ma-Ya Civilization stream, Aya and I will be revealing exactly what items we'll have—there might even be some rare drops, so please look forward to it >v<
Mama's going to get back to sorting out everyone's merch now! Goodnight!
