Chapter.80 05/13/2024 Deep Space Domain Lord's Weekly Journal

Hey everyone, it's time for the weekly journal~

I'm so sorry this entry is a few days late! I was rushing to finish my homework and kept you all waiting!

I've successfully turned in the first half of my homework! Now I'm just waiting to hear back from the TA on the second half to see if anything needs fixing. Once those edits are done, handing it off to the pros is the final step! I'm pretty proud of myself!

We also hit a massive milestone this week: our membership count broke 1,000 for the very first time!!! On Saturday, I tried doing a membership drive. Thanks to everyone's support during our 3.0 reveal in April, our member count had reached 475! So, I wanted to see if we could push that number even higher and prepared some special 3.0 polaroids for the occasion. I tried to plan for every scenario, but there were still a few slip-ups ><. Even so, you guys completely blew my expectations out of the water! The support was so overwhelming that the stretch goals I set were instantly smashed, ahhh! Is this what they call a sweet burden?! Joy mixed with pain?! Anyway, since I promised that "if we hit 1,000 members, I'll do every single idea on the rare stream idea wheel," we're going to have a lot of embarrassing streams to do this year! (Plus, I'll be streaming every single day in June without taking a break!)

Because there are so many polaroids, I'm going to do my absolute best to mail them out to your inboxes this month. If I grind through signing them on my days off, I should be fine! After all, my homework is done! Signing them while watching anime will definitely speed things up! But if I do end up falling a bit behind, please bear with me! Oh, and I want to make sure everyone sees this: until May 20th, as long as you meet any of the conditions below, you can still fill out the form to claim a polaroid!

Aside from that huge milestone, I also had a blast playing Apex with Dashu and Qina this week. Since I hadn't played in so long, I was playing pretty terribly and was always too scared to push into fights, but it was still incredibly fun. We went crazy and streamed for six straight hours LMAO. Hope that didn't scare you guys!

I also played *Starry Bound* this week! I usually put streams on in the background while doing my homework, and late at night I saw a bunch of people playing it. After watching them, my hands were itching to beat it myself! I heard the developer actually listened to player feedback, added a new mode, and tweaked some levels to make it a bit easier. So, to all my Little Cottons who watched me play and wanted to try it but were worried about their mechanical skill: don't worry, you should give it a shot now!

Since it's already a new Monday by the time I'm typing up this journal, let me go ahead and plug this week's schedule! I took Sunday and Monday off. On Tuesday, I'll be playing the new *The Bridge Curse 2*. I'm taking Wednesday off as well to prepare for Thursday's event: I've invited Boss Miru and Sesame Paste over for an interview focused on Live2D! We're mainly going to be promoting our SODAART Live2D course. I'm sure after seeing my homework, you Little Cottons know exactly how amazing our course is! So, if you're tempted to learn Live2D, I highly recommend tuning in! Since this will be my first time doing an interview-style stream, I figured I needed some extra prep time, hence the Wednesday break! Friday is a YouTube members-only stream! We'll be doing a watch-along of the movie you guys voted for last time, *Josee, the Tiger and the Fish*. I can't wait!

Finally, on Saturday I'll be participating in Yoyo's Monopoly Interview collab! Two interviews in one week! This collab will probably show a side of me that you don't usually get to see? (I'm not entirely sure myself). The stream will be hosted over on Yoyo's channel, so I won't be streaming on mine! That's the plan. Please make sure to head over to Yoyo's stream and hang out with me! I actually really enjoy taking part in these kinds of collab events, I'm just not great at organizing them myself and usually just rely on other people inviting me LOL. It's so nice to just show up and play! Yay!
