Chapter.79 05/02/2024 Deep Space Domain Lord's Weekly Journal

Hey everyone! It's time for our weekly journal again!

Amen here, happily enjoying a day off! Ever since pulling an all-nighter a while back, my sleep schedule actually seems to have fixed itself. Lately, I've been getting sleepy right after my streams, heading to bed around 2 AM and waking up past 10 AM. Pretty healthy now, right? But for some reason, I still get super drowsy in the afternoons. If I'm not careful, I end up taking a three or four-hour nap (facing the wall in shame), and then I'm tired all over again at night. TT

I recently hosted a members-only YouTube stream to test out something new: a pair of small-diaphragm condenser microphones! They're mainly for picking up the sounds of objects, since I want to try my hand at object ASMR. Because I'm just starting out, I was a bit hesitant to jump straight into an expensive binaural ear microphone, so I went with the small-diaphragm ones you always see in other ASMR videos instead. Usually, these are used for recording instruments, but a matched pair is perfect for stereo recording. I wonder what you guys thought of the audio? Besides the members-only stream, I also recorded page-turning and keyboard-typing sounds for this month's themed voice pack. I hope you like it! If you're interested, feel free to join our YouTube memberships (Cotton tier and above) or our official website memberships (accessible across all tiers!).

Just a heads-up that May's official website members-only event will be a community game night! We're currently holding a vote for the game, so be sure to check the members' area or our Discord to cast yours. As for the May YouTube members-only stream, we'll be doing a watch-along of *Josee, the Tiger and the Fish*, which will probably happen sometime between mid- to late May!

This week, I also tried that boulder-rolling game for the first time... and I finally understand the pure pain it inflicts! TT Surprisingly, we ended up chatting a lot about Greek mythology during the stream. It's been a long time, so a lot of the details I read back in the day are pretty fuzzy now, but the absolute chaos of the Greek pantheon is something I'll definitely never forget. XD

Even though I didn't stream on Thursday, I still practiced *Sonic* with Xiantu, Xuefei, and Qiye. Compared to my clumsy first attempt, my handling and control were a lot sharper this time around. I'm sure our next practice session will go even smoother! By the way, when I first joined their call today, it sounded like they were playing UNO, but when I looked at their screens, it was definitely *Party Animals*?! Turns out *Party Animals* actually added an UNO mode! XDDDD Is that just to make it easier to beat each other up as soon as the card game ends? lol

That's all for this week's journal! See you next week, and good night!
