Chapter 73: 03/07/2024 Deep Space Domain Lord's Weekly Journal
Hey everyone~ It's time for our weekly journal update!
It suddenly got so cold today! I'm not sure if it's because it started raining out of nowhere in the Deep Space Domain making the air so chilly (or maybe it's because I've been seeing way too many terrible puns in chat and on Twitter recently?), but I've been feeling super groggy and my stomach hurts a bit. My work progress was a little slow today, so I'll just have to push through and get more done tonight.
Mom also got hurt while she was out today. She told me she slipped and crashed her scooter because she didn't see an oil slick on the road. Her leg and lower back got injured and she was in a lot of pain. She could barely move around for most of the day and only started feeling a bit better by the evening. Please be extra careful when you're out and about, Little Cottons! Especially since some hazards aren't super obvious, and if you aren't paying attention, it's so easy to get hurt. QQ
I've also been thinking about going to the temple to pray recently. Since spring is right around the corner, I might go pray for safety before the rainy season starts. I hope the gods will bless my mom and all you Little Cottons with safety and good health. I really just want everyone to be okay!
It feels like all my streams this week were just Monster Hunter!? And the view counts were so high! Did Mian finally discover the secret formula for gaming streams? But I have to say, Monster Hunter is seriously so much fun! It's completely different from what I originally thought it would be, and I've been having a blast with it. Flying around with the Insect Glaive is especially fun! For those of you who play Monster Hunter, how would you rate how fast I picked it up? I saw a lot of you recommending Rise too, and I'd definitely love to try it out when I get the chance! But I need to finish Iceborne first.
I also really want to try Poppy Playtime and that new Getting Over It-style game I saw on Nika's stream today! I'm particularly interested in the Getting Over It-style one; it looks incredibly challenging, and it's getting me so hyped up! XDDD
I suddenly realized I've been spending way too much money on web novels lately, so I've decided to stick to the free chapters for now. If I find a book that's just too good to put down and I absolutely *must* read the VIP chapters, I'll bookmark it. Who knows, maybe by the time I come back to it, the whole novel will be finished! Just the thought of not having to wait for updates makes me so excited!
Speaking of not having to wait for updates, Frieren is almost at its final episode! Having it keep me company has made watching anime lately such a joy. It looks like the new April lineup has a lot of great shows coming out too, so I'm really looking forward to that. Do you guys have any anime you're already planning to watch? By the way, I just found out that Frieren's voice actress is the same one who voices Vivy! I already knew she voiced Anya from Spy x Family and Gyokuyou from The Apothecary Diaries, but finding out she voices Vivy too blew my mind! Whether it's Frieren's voice that carries the weight of time, Anya's pure adorableness, or the subtly different yet similar vibes of Vivy and Gyokuyou, she nails them all so perfectly! Voice actors really are monsters, aren't they?!
Alright, I'll keep today's journal on the shorter side and wrap it up here. See you all next week! Goodnight everyone, sweet dreams!
