20231116 Deep Space Lord's Weekly Journal Chapter.56

Hey everyone! It's that time again—time for the weekly journal!
All the merch shipped out this week! You guys should have received it by now! Do you love it?
I was so happy to see so many Little Cottons posting pictures. Mian just hit a massive VTuber milestone—hell yeah!
This week I played a horror game and did a *Party Animals* collab. The plot of *Layers of Fear 2023* feels pretty similar to the original, but the environments and storytelling are a bit different, and they added a combat mechanic. Visually, I didn't notice a huge difference. Overall, I thought the remake was pretty fun to play. Plus, the new lighthouse storyline makes you wonder what's going to happen next! It honestly wasn't even that scary!
On Wednesday, I played *Party Animals* with a bunch of cute girls! It was a blast! I managed to score two points in some intense matches and successfully walked away with six new waifus. I feel like I'm getting better at the game, though I still have no idea how to knock people out with punches lol. My go-to move is definitely the dropkick—it's way too good! Although, half the time I end up launching myself off the map by accident, which is hilarious :D
Today, I played Apex with the boss lady and Guang. The new mode is insanely fun! We queued up over and over, constantly third-partying people. It feels like great practice for aiming and learning how to push squads consistently! Plus, reviving people is so fast! It feels a lot like URF mode in League (is that what it's called?). I really hope they make this a permanent mode, though if they did, nobody would ever play pubs or ranked again LMAO.
I recently bought a new DIY craft kit to make a bear and a scarf. I'm planning to give it as a birthday present to a giant Cotton! I'm a little worried I won't finish it in time, though XD
I also finished a new novel over the past couple of days called *The Manga Mob Rewrites Everyone's Bad Ending*. The main story is completely finished, and they're just updating the side stories now. It is SO good! Basically, the female lead lives inside a manga world. One day, she suddenly starts seeing danmaku comments and realizes her world is just a comic. As she fights in multiple wars against alien beasts trying to invade her homeland, she systematically breaks all the death flags that would have killed her and her friends, ultimately driving out the invaders!
It's a sci-fi story that touches on a bunch of concepts like the third universe, quantum mechanics, Schrödinger's cat, and non-linear time. The world-building feels super expansive, but the writing isn't so high-level that it's hard to understand. Honestly, my only complaint is that there isn't enough of it!!! With a universe this massive, even 300 or 400 chapters wouldn't be enough! But it only has 120 chapters! Still, short as it is, the pacing is fantastic. I highly recommend it if you're into sci-fi!
Anyway, that's it for this week's journal. Catch you guys next time—goodnight!
Here's a pic of the DIY kit I bought.
