20231005 Deep Space Lord Weekly Journal Chapter 50

Hey everyone! It's that time again—time for our weekly journal!

I took a break from the journal last week to fix my sleep schedule and take care of a few things. Did you guys miss my cute little updates?

My first stream back was *Paranormal HK*! It was pretty terrifying at first, but the more I played, the more I got used to it. I even started thinking the monsters were kind of cute—somebody help me! Since I've played so many horror games by now, I feel like it only takes a little while for the fear to completely wear off. I can even predict the jump scares! It looks like it won't be long before I become a true horror game master!

After the horror stream, we had the official September members-only stream! We had a blast just chatting and singing. I remember we got onto the topic of short-form videos. Some meme Shorts really caught my eye lately. I never used to watch Shorts, but seeing all the debates about whether long-form or short-form content is better really got me thinking. I'm starting to feel like I should seriously consider giving Shorts a try!

On Sunday, I played Apex with Yehen and Qisi. I suspect the recent update made my game lag so much. My gameplay felt incredibly clunky that day, which was super frustrating! I tweaked my settings a bunch of times and finally got it running smoothly again. Oh, and today I uploaded a type of Short I really love: slow-mo kills! Those highlight clips with slow-motion kills synced to heavy drum beats are just so incredibly hype! I actually got a champion win today, so I decided to try editing a slow-mo montage myself.

This week, I also had the honor of doing a blind box unboxing! I don't usually collect blind boxes, so this was a real eye-opener for me. They were absolutely stunning and incredibly detailed! The gradient paint jobs were gorgeous, and they actually had some nice weight to them. Every little detail was perfect. The "Spice Princess Magic Town" set even smelled genuinely fragrant, which was amazing! If any of you Little Cottons are into designer toys, I highly recommend checking out the Taiyi Toys booth (C10) at the Taipei Toy Festival from October 7th to 10th. You definitely won't regret picking up a set!

Yesterday, we held a revote on the style for my new outfit, and the winner was a sailor uniform! When we talked about this last year, I wanted to do a sailor uniform with pants, but after thinking about it, a skirt just feels more fitting. So, this time, it'll be a sailor uniform with a skirt! Just a heads-up, though: due to some changes in body proportions and a few other tweaks, it's going to look radically different from the current me. I really hope you guys will still recognize me! XD

You can also catch me on Sakumiya Minato's channel this Saturday! I'll be participating in Minato's project, and I'm super excited about it. I'd love for all my Little Cottons to come watch and cheer me on!

Looking back at the past two weeks of streaming, even though I didn't go live as often, it felt like a nice little vacation. Plus, I get to go out for a big meal soon! I feel completely recharged and incredibly happy. I hope all my Little Cottons who had a long weekend over these past two weeks had a great time too! Let's keep that happiness going even after the holidays!
