20230907 Deep Space Domain Lord's Weekly Journal Chapter 47

Hey everyone~ It's time for our weekly journal again!

I woke up pretty early today, and the weather was absolutely perfect. I chatted with my family for a bit and was just in a fantastic mood! But then, out of nowhere, it started pouring rain, and my good mood totally tanked. I don't know why I let the weather get to me so easily and ruin my vibe.

Because of the rain, I put my work on hold for a little bit. Then the panic set in—"Oh no, what if I miss the deadline?!"—so I started frantically grinding away to catch up. And that's why I'm writing this journal past midnight, haha! Right now, the plan is to go all out after my stream on September 10th so I can hand the work in on the 11th. Honestly, it's a huge weight off my shoulders. By the way, I really feel like I'm improving at Live2D, and it makes me so happy! It's especially rewarding when a gorgeous animation finally comes to life. Sometimes I have to redo the exact same thing four or five times, but all that trial and error is totally necessary to make it look good and move smoothly. I hope one day I can level up enough to nail it on the first try.

Since I'm writing this so late, I'm probably rambling a bit. Anyway, you know how they say jumbled letters don't affect reading comprehension? I'm sure you guys can still figure out what I'm trying to say!

I did a co-working stream this week. I originally thought it would tank my productivity and keep me from interacting with chat, but it actually wasn't bad at all! The chat was surprisingly lively. (Speaking of which, I wonder when my little cotton candies will start talking to each other? I can't wait for that day! For now, I'll just keep throwing you all in the same big room so you can bond.) I'd say the stream was a success... right? Would you guys be down for an even more hands-off co-working stream next time?

Tomorrow, I'm doing a chanting challenge stream. Based on our math last time, chanting the Heart Sutra takes about 1 to 2 minutes. Doing that 150 times would take a full 300 minutes—that's five straight hours! To avoid that tragic fate, I'm going to try to speedrun the chant tomorrow. Aside from saying hi and taking water breaks, I am not stopping! *clenches fist*

I really hope it doesn't actually take five hours, otherwise my voice is going to be completely shot.

I started reading a couple of really good novels this week, but they aren't finished yet! I'll share them with you guys once there are more chapters out. Anyway, that's it for this week's journal. See you next week!

P.S. Stay safe when you're out and about! If you're going to be outside for a while, remember to stay hydrated and bring an umbrella. A-Mian cares about your health!
