20230615 Deep Space Domain Lord Weekly Journal Chapter 35

Hey everyone~ It's time for another weekly journal from Mian!
Early this week, Aunt Flo came to visit, and my eye pressure spiked like crazy (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞ It was so painful! Looks like it's finally time for a follow-up at the eye doctor... I've been putting it off because I'm just so lazy about it. As a result, I totally procrastinated, and my weekly schedule accidentally didn't go out until Tuesday. I'm so sorry! m(_ _)m
Last night, I suddenly had a massive craving to watch some anime! The isekai show I mentioned before actually wasn't on AniGamer QQ, so I just randomly clicked on something else. I had no idea *My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999* would be so good! The male lead is totally cold on the outside but seems really pure-hearted. Even though the art style isn't super flashy, he's drawn incredibly well—it's a very convincing kind of handsome! And the heroine's personality is just adorable!!! I absolutely love her interactions with the rest of the cast. In the first episode, I thought she was a bit too boy-crazy, but as I kept watching, I realized how great her dynamic is with everyone. Whether it's with Yamada, the guild master, his little sister, the older guy, or her best friend Momo, her personality just shines! Plus, the show has tons of cute chibi moments with dot eyes and squishy faces. Highly recommend! The anime isn't finished airing yet, so I've already decided to go binge the manga QQQQ. The gaming theme really hits the sweet spot for me too. I love stories where the heroine is a gamer; although I usually prefer when she's a total pro rather than a noob, this heroine is so wonderful that I honestly don't mind XD.
This week, I moved to Good Leopard Island with Liv and Aya. Isn't the base I built amazing?! I couldn't manage a traditional Chinese or Japanese style, or a classic castle, but our spot is right by a beautiful lake, has perfect humidity and temperature, and boasts an incredible view. There's a supermarket nearby, a lighthouse right next door, and great neighbors up on the hill—talk about killing several birds with one stone! I even made sure to give everyone their own separate rooms so we all have our own personal space. On top of that, I set up two wind turbines, a solar panel, and an awesome water purifier. Next time, I'm going to light up our whole base so we don't have to use flashlights just to see where we're walking at home!
I also successfully beat the Great Shinobi Owl in *Sekiro*! Even though I kept jinxing myself and it took way longer than the time limit I set for myself, whatever—clearing it right before ending the stream makes me the absolute best! I probably won't be able to sneak in any off-stream grinding, though, so next time I stream *Sekiro*, I'll need to farm some levels and practice my skills first. I want to unlock the Empowered Mortal Draw before taking on the Guardian Ape duo!
Speaking of which, I feel like it's almost time to take on the Jump King challenge! Also, with the Dragon Boat Festival coming up, won't Steam have a sale? I feel like the *Devil May Cry 5* DLC might get discounted! Do you guys remember when the Steam Summer Sale usually starts? Remind me to grab the *DMC5* DLC! The Vergil one!
As for novels, I recently read one I really liked and want to recommend it to you all. It's called *Surviving from Immortality to Ascension*. It's about a heroine who has the gift of eternal youth, but even though she doesn't age, she can still be killed. She lives in a world full of danger at every turn, so she decides to secretly cultivate her powers, hide her abilities, and quietly build up her strength just to survive in this post-apocalyptic world. The pacing is pretty brisk, and the story manages to be brutally realistic while still having genuine moments of warmth. Highly recommended if you enjoy cultivation stories!
That wraps up this week's journal~ See you next week!
