20230608 Deep Space Domain Lord Weekly Update: Chapter 34

Hey everyone, Amin here! Welcome to another weekly update!

I've been using my new keyboard for a while now. I wasn't completely used to the feel at first, but now I'm seriously getting addicted to typing on it lol.

The clicky sound and tactile feedback are just incredibly satisfying! I actually procrastinated a bit before starting this week's post, but once I got going, the words just kept flowing. I did notice I make a lot of typos, though. Most people touch-type without looking, right? I've been practicing that, but I still keep hitting the wrong keys or getting stuck picking the right characters. Input methods really need to get smarter, haha. By the way, does anyone have a smooth way to toggle between half-width and full-width characters? Switching back and forth between full-width for punctuation and half-width for English is driving me crazy!

Last week, I mentioned having a bunch of unfinished tasks and work piling up. Since I'm prone to extreme procrastination, I literally blocked out time on my calendar: "Finish commissions, buy resin supplies," and gave myself a hard deadline of Monday. I still ended up pushing it until almost midnight, but I actually got everything done and sent out! Go me! Maybe giving myself strict ultimatums is the only cure for my procrastination. (Well, at least for me, anyway.)

Work is moving along nicely, too, and I should be wrapping up my current project soon. It's just one job after another right now, but I really need to save up to feed my gadget addiction! I swear, I go through these phases where I just want to upgrade literally everything I own. I just got a new mic and headphones, so I guess my next move is waiting for the RTX 50 series to drop so I can snag a 4090! I'd love to upgrade my CPU too, but then I'd need a new motherboard... maybe I should just hold out for another two or three years and build a completely new rig from scratch lol. Question for you guys: when you get rid of an old PC, do you sell the whole system as-is, or part it out? It makes sense to sell pre-builts whole, but I feel like you rarely see people selling full custom-built PCs second-hand.

I took on the Guardian Ape Duo in Sekiro yesterday and spent three straight hours getting absolutely destroyed. I finally looked up a guide that said you can just use Empowered Mortal Draw to cheese them super easily. (So what was I doing for three hours? Building character??) Anyway, I'm going to go grab that move, grind out a few levels, and come back for my epic revenge!

Alright, I don't have any new web novel recommendations this week (I'm mostly just catching up on the ones I've already talked about), so hopefully I'll have some good picks for you guys next time. That's all for this week's update—catch you next week!
