20230518 Deep Space Lord Weekly Journal Chapter.31

It's time for another weekly journal! Hey everyone!
I took two days off from streaming, and during that time, I've had (G)I-dle's new songs on absolute repeat. The music video is so well done! I couldn't help but slowly analyze every single shot to figure out the underlying concepts they wanted to convey. Aside from the MV itself, the lyrics and melody of their comeback are getting a lot of buzz too.
The album is titled "I FEEL," and it carries so many different meanings! It touches on rejecting body image anxiety, ignoring what others think, staying confident, and just being yourself and loving who you are. Everyone will probably interpret the MV differently, but no matter how you look at it, it’s a song about "girls feeling what other girls feel"—and even just "people feeling human emotions." They took the insecurities they’ve probably faced themselves, turned them into a song, and sang it to us. It reminds those of us dealing with the same struggles that we're all in the same boat. I might envy them, but they probably envy someone else. I might worry I'm not good enough, and they probably worry about the exact same thing. Loving yourself sounds simple, but it can actually be really hard. We’re all just navigating the ebb and flow of our emotions. If a song can bring you some joy during those emotional highs and lows, then I think it's done exactly what it was meant to do!
Anyway, I highly recommend checking out their songs and music videos if you get the chance! The tracks are "Allergy" and "Queencard," and the storylines are connected, so you should definitely start with "Allergy"! (I honestly learn so much English vocabulary from Korean songs.)
While I was browsing YouTube today, I stumbled upon Ajin's channel. He's a streamer I started watching way back when I was playing *The Long Dark* (even before I started streaming myself). What I remember most is how completely unfazed he was playing horror games! LOL So I used to watch his horror playthroughs all the time. It seems like his content style has changed a bit, though I'm not entirely sure. Still, after all this time, it's really heartwarming to see that he's still active and making content! Although, his dark circles look like they've gotten worse?
By the way, if I posted something like this on Twitter: "Whenever you see a VTuber graduate, go say hi to a VTuber who’s been streaming for over a year," would people think I'm weird? LOL Lately, I've been wanting to go around and say hi to other streamers too. But whenever I pop into a stream I haven't watched in a long time, I get a little shy and hesitate, thinking, "Is it weird if I just randomly show up and say hi?" LMAO
Sometimes overthinking just makes life so exhausting. I feel like we *should* think more, but we always overthink the wrong things! What do you guys think we should overthink, and what should we think less about? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Oh, right! I finally picked out all the materials for my resin crafts. Once they arrive in a few days, I'll be trying it out for the first time! I have no idea if they'll turn out looking good... I’m planning to test the waters during a members-only stream first! If it goes smoothly, I'll do it on my regular streams. I'll probably stream it quite a few times to get the hang of it, and then I'll give the crafts away to you guys!
I also started reading a super good novel recently! But ugh, I have to wait for updates again. I think I'm just going to hold off until there are more chapters out... or wait until it's finished so I can binge the whole thing! It'll be easier to recommend it to you guys that way too! (Who knows, maybe in my next journal I'll end up recommending it anyway because it's so good I can't read anything else—yes, I'm deliberately making this one long run-on sentence.)
