20230504 Deep Space Lord's Weekly Journal Chapter.29

Hey there, my Little Cottons! Welcome to weekly journal #29!

I've been so addicted to grinding Getting Over It! XD Seeing that golden pot right there, I just really want to finish it up and set a new personal record in my gaming history! But honestly, I'm kind of curious—is this even an impressive record? XD Like, sure, it's an achievement, but I've seen so many speedruns out there, some even under a minute!!! Makes me feel like I'm not that great after all lol.

I've also been having a blast playing Devil May Cry the past few days! It's just a bummer that the stream's video and audio quality weren't perfect QQ. Ugh, I'm so sorry about that, guys... but seriously, what an incredible game! I actually really love games with such satisfying combat and impact. Like that MMO I mentioned before—the combat in that was super punchy too. I used to love playing this one class that used a hammer and shield. Just smashing monsters around felt incredibly satisfying!!! There was another class that used chain blades to yank enemies toward you, super similar to Nero's skill. So good! Oh, and seeing Dante smash monsters with a whole motorcycle yesterday was amazing, though realistically, nobody could actually lift a motorcycle weapon like that IRL lol.

(G)I-DLE is coming back on May 15th!!! (Time to celebrate!!!) I'm already loving the melodies of every single song on this new album, and the one from Shuhua's teaser is so sweet. I just want it to be the 15th already, I need to hear the title track QQ.

You guys probably think I'm gonna go play Getting Over It right after finishing this journal, but you're wrong! I've decided to pop off my keycaps and put on some new ones!!! I'm thinking circular ones this time!!! But I'm debating whether to take apart my current keyboard or switch back to the old one that lost its original caps so I don't have to deal with taking them off and putting them back on. Then again, the only real difference between the two boards is RGB vs. no RGB—I think the switches are exactly the same. So... honestly, I'm kinda tempted to buy a new keyboard with blue switches QQ. A certain brand's keyboards really caught my eye lately, but unfortunately, I thought they had a light purple one, and it turns out it's not out yet. Who knows how long I'll have to wait =3=

I haven't read too many web novels this week~ It looks like that efficient cultivation one I mentioned before finally finished! I've really been enjoying keeping up with the updates lately—there's something so satisfying about seeing the novels you love get completed one by one! Speaking of novels, it reminds me of something I brought up before. Back when I first started reading them a long time ago, there was this one that left a huge impression on me, and I recently finally found its actual name! It's called *Ten Reincarnations*, and the author is Southern Rose (I think I used to always mix up the author and the title). The whole reason I picked it up back then was just because the cover art was SO! GORGEOUS! I never expected that, years later, when I looked it up again, I'd find out the cover artist was actually VOFAN! I only really became familiar with that name after becoming a VTuber, but it turns out I'd seen their work ages ago! It gives me this weird, mixed feeling of "what a small world" and "I didn't even realize I was looking at a masterpiece" XDDD
