20230126 Deep Space Domain Lord's Weekly Journal Chapter.15

It's 7:56 PM right now, and I have to rush to get this weekly journal typed up before my stream starts at 8:30. Otherwise, there's a 99% chance I'll completely forget to do it once the stream is over. To avoid suddenly remembering after midnight, I've decided to quickly flex my rambling—I mean, my creative writing skills—to pump out a beautifully illustrated (sorry, no pictures) weekly update.

Today is the fifth day of the Lunar New Year—wishing everyone a great return to work!!! Mian has been playing *Sekiro* non-stop for days and only just realized it's already the fifth day. The holiday flew by way too fast?! How are there only a few days left! On second thought, maybe getting back to a normal routine is for the best. After all, the banks are closed during the holidays, and those incoming Google payments take forever to clear!

After buying scratch-offs on the second day of the new year, my mom seems to have gotten hooked. She bought small $200 and $300 scratch-offs for several days straight, and as you might guess, they were all duds. So, am I a bad influence on my mom now? But hey, even though the scratch-offs were a bust, I won the receipt lottery twice this cycle! A whopping 400 bucks! The God of Wealth is still looking out for Mian!

Speaking of the God of Wealth, we went to pray to the Earth God on the fourth day. I heard it's supposedly more effective to hit up five different God of Wealth temples, but that sounded like too much of a hassle and it was freezing out (the temperature really took a nosedive). So, we just went to an Earth God temple close to the Deep Space Domain. What do you guys say to the gods when you pray? Mom says you absolutely have to recite your lunar birthday, name, and address, but I always forget to do that XD. I figured just managing to wish them a Happy New Year was good enough. I did end up obediently reciting it all later, though, hoping the Earth God will bless Mian and the Deep Space Domain with long-lasting success.

As for the novels I read this week, I didn't finish a single one! Instead, I just kept falling down more and more rabbit holes. Throw in the anime we talked about before, and I just don't have the time to catch up on everything QQ. Why can't we use the time our physical and mental bodies are sleeping to read and watch stuff?! Isn't there a theory that dreaming is actually living in a parallel universe? I hope my dreams can step up their game and let me dream about binge-watching anime forever.
