20230112 Deep Space Lord's Weekly Journal: Chapter 13

We've made it to week 13 of the journal! Give yourselves a huge round of applause for keeping up with these every week! *clap clap clap*

The weather warmed up quite a bit this week, so it hasn't been freezing when taking a shower, but I still treated myself to a nice, long bath! It was incredibly relaxing. Getting a folding bathtub was such a great investment. I highly recommend picking one up if you don't have a tub at home. Just a heads-up: don't get the huge rectangular ones unless you really want to lie all the way down. The cylindrical ones are the way to go because they fill up so much faster!!!

When I take a bath, I love completely submerging my ears. It gives me this really comforting feeling, like I'm deep at the bottom of the ocean. I just let my mind wander and completely zone out. Every now and then, I'll rotate to make sure every part of me gets a soak. Honestly, it feels like I'm a piece of meat being sous-vided haha.

Today I edited my own *Sekiro* highlight reel! I'm hoping I can stick to a schedule and put out a new highlight video every two weeks. (I know that sounds a bit slow, but I want to see how these videos perform first.) I also learned a lot of handy tips about channel growth today. It really reassures me that as long as I keep streaming consistently, I'll eventually get noticed! *fist pump*

Also, *Sekiro* is so incredibly fun! That satisfying *clang clang clang* of the parries is just the best! I'd love to try doing a one-day full clear marathon sometime, but I'm worried the stream would go on for way too long and I just wouldn't have the stamina for it T_T.

That infinite-flow web novel I mentioned last week is called *House of Ghosts and Gods* by Ji Ying. I actually blitzed through the entire thing in a week! Every single arc was genuinely a great read, with twists I definitely didn't see coming. By the end, all the foreshadowing from earlier chapters was perfectly tied up. My only minor gripe is that the main character's emotions felt a bit underdeveloped. It felt a little detached at times. But honestly, the good far outweighs the bad. I'd still give it a solid 5 out of 5! I highly recommend checking it out.

That's all for this week's journal. Catch you guys next week!
