[Sofia's Life Diary] 7/15/2023

My first-ever weekly chat/recap stream~ I might start doing a chat + weekly recap like this every Saturday from now on!

I recently watched Hell's Paradise on Netflix, and I love the female lead, Sagiri — a gorgeous, badass female lead is just the best!

Both the OP and ED are so good~

I especially love the OP's style. Even if you're not into the anime itself, I'd still recommend giving it a watch!

This week's recap~

Monday, I played some ACG Creation Award entries~

Waran's art style is so cute, can't wait for the full version~

Tuesday, I played the puzzle game Creaks.

Turns out the last time I played it was back in January!

The art style is gorgeous, and I love the design where later in the game you get to look back on the path you've already walked!

Wednesday was my mukbang stream!

Missed out on the tomato curry I'd planned last week, so this week let's do summer veggie curry!

The ice cream soda shaved ice looked gorgeous, but since it had been sitting in the fridge, by the time I finished the curry it had basically turned into sugar water with ice cubes in it QQ

After lunch, I did a surprise session of the game that's blowing up right now — Only Up!

Thanks to Thya-sensei for the thumbnail support~

I originally just said "make me an Only Up thumbnail!" as a joke.

Didn't expect to get so many submissions — guess that means I HAD to stream it...!!

Partway through I found out there's actually a cheat elevator you can ride (?)

This time was really just a quick taste of the gameplay — next time I'll actually go for a real, serious attempt!

Thursday I played The Bad Kid~

It's an indie game adapted from a live-action show, which was itself adapted from a novel.

I'd played the demo before, and the full release does an even better job guiding new players. I think even movie fans who don't usually play games would enjoy this one!

Season 2 of Good Fortune Island dropped on 7/13~

Friday wasn't originally on the schedule, but seeing how enthusiastically the early crew was settling the wasteland, I couldn't resist jumping in myself!

Season 1 happened to line up with my 2.0 launch, plus my seven-year-old PC was already on its last legs and couldn't keep up with the game.

I barely got to participate and it's genuinely one of my biggest regrets

Hoping I can get way more involved in season 2! (ゝ∀･)b
