6/29 (Thursday) is when my new 2.0 model drops!

Also, happy belated Dragon Boat Festival!

Has anyone here ever competed in a gaming tournament?

I've never done one myself, so the "Taiwan VTuber Shaolin Soccer Tournament - All-Star Exhibition Match" was my first time ever teaming up with people to compete~

I was a nervous wreck before the match, but once we actually got playing it was so much fun~ every single team was a tough opponent!

Thank you to Amien and Hikari for carrying us!

We're keeping our promise: shaved heads and dresses, as agreed.

Don't worry, Hikari, we'll all be right there in dresses with you (๑´ㅂ`๑)b

Did everyone get to eat zongzi for Dragon Boat Festival?

It's probably been about four years since I last had zongzi!

Back when I used to live at the vacation house in Taiwan, the fridge would just magically produce a steady stream of baby zongzi, and I'd end up eating them for days straight.

What kind of zongzi do you all like?

Southern-style? Northern-style? Or... central-style? 👀

And what sauce do you put on them?

Soy paste? Sweet chili sauce? Or Dong Quan sauce?

I personally lean toward the sticky southern-style zongzi (I've always loved the gooey, snotty-textured kind).

But I'm also completely on board with 3D-printed oil rice, Hakka-style zongzi, and lye-water zongzi~

As for sauce, baby me couldn't handle spicy at all, so I'd only dip mine in the sweet soy paste.

It wasn't until I got a bit older that I could handle sweet chili sauce~ and honestly, southern-style zongzi plus sweet chili sauce is just the perfect combo! (๑´ㅂ`๑)

I've never actually had Dong Quan sauce though. Is it really that different from sweet chili sauce?

Like I mentioned, it's been about four years since I've had zongzi.

Ages ago I spotted frozen zongzi at an import wholesale store here in the land of the fae, but at the time I wasn't dealing with zongzi withdrawal yet...

These past two years though, every Dragon Boat Festival my zongzi cravings kick in hard, and no matter how I searched, I just couldn't find any anywhere 。゚・(つд`゚)・゚。

Zongzi! I want zongzi so bad! 。゚・(つд`゚)・゚。

So I trekked out pretty far and finally found a Chinese grocery store.

I picked up a pack of zongzi, a bunch of Taiwanese drinks, and some of that spicy snack that's apparently super popular online right now.

That spicy snack was seriously numbing-and-spicy, and I totally get why it's blown up among young students~ I kind of got a little hooked on it myself.

But it's not really something you can eat all the time — I'd worry it could mess with the taste buds of young people who eat it too often?

I also finally got to eat zongzi again after all this time, and it was so good! (๑´ڡ`๑)
