I went to Taiwan... and then I got COVID!

It's been way too long since my last life diary, huh!?

Let me explain — I caught COVID QQ

I finally made it back to Taiwan for a visit in early May.

I'd originally planned to come home from Taiwan and tell everyone all about the trip, but of course, the moment I got back, I got sick.

I didn't want to worry you all too much, so I waited until I was mostly better before saying anything...

Yep, I tested positive.

I was so careful the whole time I was over here, but I guess I let my guard down because I was just too happy to finally be back in Taiwan.

I've been seeing a lot of positive cases going around on Twitter lately too. Even though most places in the world have dropped mask mandates at this point, please still stay safe out there!

I'd originally planned to take one week off and come back on 5/10, but instead I ended up going three whole weeks without streaming.

For about two weeks I basically just lay in bed the entire time. On my better days I could scroll through social media, read some manga, or watch a stream or two.

But sometimes even watching streams felt exhausting, and I could barely do anything but lie there completely wiped out _:(´□`」 ∠):_

On top of feeling physically awful, the real gut punch was wanting to stream so badly and just not being able to.

I'm addicted to streaming, so between coughing fits I kept wanting to go live so badly. I almost caved and started a stream on impulse more than once... but every time that urge hit, I'd start coughing uncontrollably again.

You all wouldn't exactly enjoy hearing me sound this sick, right?

So I held off QQ

I want to stream so bad! I want to play RE4 so bad! I want to play Tears of the Kingdom so bad!

I want to chat and play games with all of you so bad!

But don't worry, everyone.

I have enough energy to write this diary entry. You know what that means, right?

It means my comeback isn't far off!
