[Sofia's Life Diary] My Life as a Self-Taught Layout Artist — 6/3/2023

Back when I first debuted, I was brute-forcing every thumbnail and weekly schedule graphic with nothing but MS Paint and OBS.
I've started learning Photoshop since then, but honestly, I still have basically no idea what I'm doing with it.
I just use free assets and Google tutorials as I go, and every single layout takes me forever and several drafts to finish 🥹
Massive respect to anyone who's actually good at graphic design 🥹
Figured I'd round up all the graphics I've made to help out SODAART so far — though I probably haven't used every single one~

The promo graphic for CWT62
(I had no idea how to design this, so I just used free assets and boxed off each VTuber's merch with square frames)
(Square images tend to stand out more when scrolling through Twitter, so I also made individual square promo graphics for everyone~)
The thumbnail and SODA-ko Twitter banner for the crew's debut stream
(The yukata art hadn't been revealed yet at the time, so I made a silhouette version first XD)
The livestream thumbnail and promo graphic for the Pure White New Year Festival
(I'd had this free font downloaded forever and finally used it for the first time here XD)
The community giveaway for Cat's Passing
(Cat's Passing's logo has a handwritten look, so I picked a matching handwritten-style font for the text too~)
(The stream thumbnail — I'm honestly pretty proud of this one)
The April Fools' project — SODA Campus Festival
Promo for PF38
(Looking back now, I probably should've placed Kuku and Kunkusa's standees a bit lower to make it easier to read 🥹)
Promo for the official site merch
Amien's 2nd anniversary promo
(The hanging scroll art is gorgeous, so I tried to give it a novel-cover kind of feel~)
The weekly schedule graphics for the whole crew
I'm the one who designs the weekly schedule and updates it every week~
I had zero idea how to make one at first, and just brute-forced my way through it XDD
Turns out I've quietly helped out with a decent number of SODAART's graphics along the way, huh 🥰
