Cat Cafe Trip & the SODAART Mini Year-End Party

At Soda-sensei's invitation, the first-generation talents and a few of the instructors went out for a mini year-end dinner together~

Since this was Mianmian's first time visiting the northern part of Taiwan, Kunkusa headed up to Taipei early to keep her company~

Mianmian suggested we check out a cat cafe, and since everyone would need time to gather anyway and I'd never been to one myself, I said sure, why not~

The moment we walked into the cat cafe, Kunkusa and Mianmian completely let loose, happily playing with the cats and snapping a ridiculous number of photos~

This particular cat cafe was pretty great, too. Aside from the cover charge and any extra food or drinks you order,

drink refills were free, and every so often staff would come around with cat treats and let guests feed them~ you'd get instantly mobbed by cats~

We ended up sitting there for over 4 hours, basically until it was time to head to the dinner www

When we finally got to the meetup spot and saw everyone for the first time, Kunkusa was super nervous!

But everyone was really kind to me~

That night we ate at "Shin Yeh Japanese Cuisine"

it was incredible~ Kunkusa ate a ton of shrimp w

Soda-sensei even taught us a whole shrimp-peeling technique~

We wrapped up the night playing Bingo, Liv took first place, and Kunkusa and Coco tied for second.

Meanwhile, Ah-Zhe-sensei, who'd been so confident going in, didn't place at all www

All in all it was a really fun little year-end gathering, hoping we can all make it to a second year together~
