An Unexpected European Trip: Budapest — Part 2

Sorry for the late post!
Things have genuinely been hectic these past few days!! I'll keep filling in the gaps gradually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Budapest's night skyline.
That night we took a cruise down the Danube, watching the Hungarian Parliament Building rise up gorgeously in front of us.
I'm seriously starting to suspect the entire city goes on a 7 PM curfew and routes every last watt of power straight into that building (totally unfounded rumor, don't quote me).
Honestly, it's basically a solid gold brick!! Right? Right? (pointing)
And here's Fisherman's Bastion (Halászbástya), looking back from the river.
Sipping champagne on the boat with the river breeze drifting by, the whole vibe was so romantic that even my coworker couldn't help but look up at me all bashful and go...
"Europe really is made for couples. What are we even doing here? Damn it."
