So much has happened lately!

There was the welcome party for A-Guang and Soda-chan!

Everyone had to speak only in Taiwanese the whole time, it was a whole thing!

I couldn't make it that day, but I did record a video for it!

Let me tell you about the trip Papao took me on recently!!!

She took me to Yilan for some seriously delicious roast chicken!!!!

The funny part is the two of us couldn't even finish it.

So most of it got boxed up and became my lunch the next day (and honestly the day after that too).

I was the one carving the chicken apart, and weirdly, I found the whole process super satisfying (do I have a dismantling kink or something?)

There was also an amazing crawfish soup...

The weather that day was perfect,

clear skies as far as you could see.

We also found a really clean little creek to splash around in,

but since we hadn't brought swimsuits, we just dipped our feet in.

The water was freezing, so refreshing.

A while before that, a friend took me out to try

the famous sour fish soup!

I'd been wanting to try it forever — I've always loved anything sour and spicy.

It was just the two of us eating.

The menu said the portion was meant for 2-3 people.

When it actually arrived, both of us just stared in disbelief.

It was an absolutely massive pot.

You can tell the scale just by seeing my hand next to it for comparison, it was huge.

Same story there, we couldn't finish it XDDD

So again, we boxed it up and reheated it later.

Honestly though? Reheated, it was still so good.

This next one's a Gengar plush a friend gave me!

And this is the Kuromi I bought myself.
