Kuku's Random Musings — 2023.6.11 🔔

Today's Sunday,

which means it's time to pull myself together,

back to work tomorrow!

This weekend Kuku and Papao went out and had some fun together!

We hit up a water park and stayed at a really cozy guesthouse!

Let's start with the guesthouse.

The one we picked leans into that "close to nature" vibe — everything's wood-toned, with trees and greenery decorating the outside.

The room was huge! And barely any mosquitoes — they had mosquito coils burning by the door and out in the courtyard pavilion,

and there was also an indoor electric mosquito repeller we could use.

The bathroom was spacious too, with its own soaking tub!

I soaked for about half an hour... so relaxing...

Properly soaked all my everyday fatigue right out of me.

Turns out you really do need to rest and recharge every once in a while (*¯︶¯*)

Then, the water park!

It was my first time ever going to a water park,

so I even bought a new swimsuit for the occasion.

We went in the afternoon since the morning was way too hot with the sun blasting down, so we figured we'd wait it out.

Once we got there it turned out to be pretty crowded.

We rode the big wave pool — you're required to wear a life vest if you go into the deeper section, which we did, so we got to enjoy the deeper part too.

We also went down the water slides!

Since I can't swim, Papao was basically teaching me the whole time (fitting, since she's a seal).

A bunch of funny stuff happened that'll probably show up in one of Papao's four-panel comics later, lol.

And, well, we ended up baring it all in front of each other in the shower (so embarrassing).

Showering together, and her washing my hair — oh my gosh, it felt amazing.

I didn't bring my phone while we were swimming since I didn't want it to get wet, so there aren't many photos!

And now, after all that moving around in the water, my whole body is sore.

I might actually die.

Lastly,

this week's Kuro.

(He's mad.)
