Kuku's Random Musings — Anime Recommendation!! BEASTARS!

I recently watched BEASTARS!

When it first came out, it stirred up quite a bit of discussion,

but back then I wasn't really into furries yet,

so I never actually watched it.

Until now!

Somehow I've randomly gotten really into wolf furries, and turns out the male lead, Legoshi, is a wolf!!!!

The show is mainly about how animals coexist — how carnivores and herbivores can peacefully share the same world.

There isn't a single human in it, not even other animal types like monkeys XDD

The show does a really nuanced job portraying Legoshi's inner conflict and personal growth.

Watching it, you get pulled right into his headspace.

There's some genuinely deep material about carnivores suppressing their instincts — it constantly touches on the struggle of being a carnivore, holding back the urge to eat meat, and how to control yourself around a herbivore who's supposed to be your friend.

There's also darker material, like herbivores living in fear of carnivores, or herbivores selling off parts of their own bodies to carnivores for various reasons.

At the end of the day, all I really want to say is:

Is Legoshi and Louis ever going to get married or what.

So cute.......

If you're already into furry content, I highly recommend this one.

If you don't usually think of yourself as into furries, I'd still recommend giving it a shot.

And if you're already, like, extremely into it,

maybe see a doctor instead of watching more anime, lol.
