Kuku's Random Diary — 2023.2.16 ☁

Time for the weekly update again.

First, here's an image of cat-grass fans chasing after me with my own weekly update, drawn by Lai-lai!

(I really am writing it, I swear....qq)

Okay, this week.

Let me start with an amazing hot pot place I tried.

It's called Yuan Xin Ran Mala Tang, up in northern Taiwan.

I absolutely love this place!!!!

Highly, highly recommend it if that's your kind of food.

(Nope, this isn't sponsored.)

They have a ton of different broths.

I ordered the white pepper herbal broth.

It doesn't have that sharp white pepper bite, just the aroma, with a lingering herbal aftertaste, so good.

And the mala broth is amazing too, the kind where you can actually drink the soup.

No giant layer of oil floating on top.

And if a guy's ordering, the portions are generous enough to actually fill you up.

(I ended up eating off this one pot for two meals — couldn't finish it, so I packed the rest home and cooked it up again into a whole new Kuku-sized pot.)

Next, I want to share my Eva Unit-01.

Nothing deep to say, just wanted to show it off, lol.

(Kaworu is my husband.)

Alright, now onto the stomach flu part of this update.

Long story short, I must've eaten something that wasn't clean and came down with acute gastroenteritis (not from the hot pot above, that was days earlier).

Two days of nonstop misery on both ends, only really starting to feel better today.

For the past two days I've mostly been eating really bland food.

Anyway, once I'm fully recovered I'm heading straight back to that hot pot place I mentioned above, so frustrated I had to wait ==

Also! The Valentine's chocolates I made have all been shipped out to everyone.

It went really smoothly this time!! Every single chocolate baby came out looking adorable.

Hoping you all love this batch of Kuku chocolates!!!!

Lastly, this week's

paw-press Kuro.
