This time the New Year Kuro art was drawn by Jing-wa-mama!

Went home for the holidays and had my mom's amazing feast.

I ate until I was completely stuffed....

After dinner I went out with my family to set off some small fireworks.

Have you all ever played with butterfly firecrackers?

They're so pretty.

The kind in the photo above are held in your hand — I nearly jumped out of my skin the first time I held one.

They kick back a bit, so if you're not holding it right, you might end up with a face full of sparks.

Also went out and about with my family.

While we were wandering around we stumbled across an ichiban-kuji lottery shop.

They had a Kuromi set and an Evangelion set.

Unsurprisingly,

I came home with yet another file folder, so frustrating ==

Thankfully the last-place prize for the Kuromi set was a trash bin.

At least I can actually use that one (?

I also picked up a cute little pen holder!

And as you all know, the puzzle I finally finished last week

got knocked over and destroyed by that idiot cat.

Turns out working on a puzzle can apparently be reason enough for me to go live again ==

Honestly, so infuriating.
