<Mama's Garden Management Log> 2/14/2023

Suddenly hit with a flood of thoughts in the dead of night, so here's this week's log, better late than never.

There were some things I needed to announce that mattered a lot, but with my thoughts all over the place, looking back I don't think I explained them well.

Mainly because ever since the move last year kept me busy, I haven't gotten a real break since. A lot of my life stress comes from constant communication, and most of my work is communication too (all while being careful not to offend any vendors 🤣

Little by little, my already-not-great social battery dropped to zero.

I've come to realize I was never someone who could stay highly social every single minute of the day anyway 🥲

I tried to push through it, but in the end I couldn't even pull together one fun, clever idea — I really do need to let my body and mind properly rest

Take in some scenery, enjoy nature, eat some shrimp crackers (yes, I really am craving them), and let my worn-out mind recover.

While I'll be off stream for a bit, you can still catch me elsewhere, especially over on SODAART's VTuber channels 😌

As the one entrusted to lead everyone, day to day I'm not just helping coordinate with vendors to get more exposure — I've also been constantly thinking about how to get the team truly running smoothly.

The ideas have been sitting in my notes app forever, but I just haven't had the time to act on them. More than pushing myself forward alone, I want us to move forward together, so I've decided to pause for now and focus on improving how we manage the team and plan projects going forward ☺️

Thanks for respecting and understanding this decision, everyone — seeing you all practically tear up with joy at the news I'm taking a break (?) genuinely surprised and touched me 😂

In the days since pausing streams, aside from work-related messages, I've mostly just been resting in bed, barely even going outside

I was supposed to start fixing my sleep schedule, and yet here I am, still up with the nightingales singing outside...

So I opened up Anime Crazy and started catching up on some shows, and stumbled onto this... this...

Wait, has it really been a whole month since I last watched anime 😭 Has it really been that long 😭 I could've sworn it was just two weeks ago 😭

Time to sleep, child. The anime can... wait for another day.
