<Mama's Garden Management Log> 3/7/2023

This week I criss-crossed the whole country, north to south, and looking back, a lot really happened...

Right before it all blew up in the middle of the trip, a part-time gig left me sore head to toe, even my butt hurt when I walked. Just as that was finally healing, I strained my foot taking a friend out on a trip over the weekend

That foot hurt so bad on my shrimp-cracker run down south that I was limping, couldn't wear sandals at all — thank god sneakers saved me, I nearly had to wheelchair my way through the whole trip 😂

Then there's the coaster print run we'd been hyping up forever — 70% of it came out botched, and the vendor's customer service just keeps playing dead 🫠

First I accidentally ordered a batch of diatomite coasters by mistake, and then when the actual ceramic coasters arrived, I nearly had a stroke the second I checked the shipment...

No idea what happened with their quality control, but they actually shipped out stuff covered in blotchy defects 😢 Didn't get an official response from customer service saying they'd reprint until yesterday morning (and that's after a bunch of phone calls chasing them down)

On top of that, the peach-shaped mousepads and other stuff I printed myself cost me almost NT$20,000 😩 Having problems just get ignored like this genuinely makes me reconsider working with them again

In comparison, Dongyu's service has been fantastic, honestly a guiding light through this whole ordeal

Just put phone cases up for sale — it's not some huge collab or anything yet, but the final product still turned out really cute. I'll show you the test prints I made for myself on stream sometime soon ☺️

If you follow me on Twitter you probably already saw that Mama got hit and run at a rest stop — police still haven't called with a suspect, so it's looking like I might have to pay for the repairs myself 😭 Makes me want to strangle whoever did it every time I think about it

This whole streak of bad luck caught the attention of a friend who works at a temple, so they stepped in to help sort things out spiritually. Not exactly an expert or all that superstitious myself, Mama's not totally sure what they even did, but here's hoping things smooth out from here — because honestly, life's been rough lately!

Lastly, I don't have a cat at home, so I snuck over to the neighbor's to get some pets in — and honestly, that kitty's expression matched my mood lately a little too perfectly
