<Mama's Garden Management Log> 11/1/2023

-

Kung-pow-loo-hoo! Thanks to the Somins and classmates for understanding, and for wishing me a fun trip

Nah, not really! Honestly, besides the one big must-see spot, I still haven't figured out where I'm going the rest of the days! (Your father-in-law's already lecturing me about it)

Only just finished packing a minute ago, getting ready to sleep since I've got an early start tomorrow

Then the second I lay down, the words just started flowing, so here I am writing this week's log

Mama, honestly... has been wanting to break this workaholic habit for a while now, but whenever there's something sitting unfinished, I just can't help but want to knock it out, and end up forgetting to eat 🫠

It's definitely not because Ma Kai treated me to a big fancy meal and now I'm broke, and it's definitely not a diet thing either — it's just that every time I look up it's already almost six 🫨

These past few weeks have been genuinely packed — between running around meeting great connections to talk business, and sorting out new merch, I finally got the last batch of official merch sent to print today, should be ready to debut at ACE!

Somewhere in there I also had Sayaka-sensei teach me how to use AI tools — I'm so grateful for how patient and thorough she was with it. I'd just describe things in the most casual way possible, and she'd instantly get exactly what I needed 😭 Thank you again, Sayaka!

But even the best plans have a hole somewhere — right as I was feeling proud of myself for packing everyone's merch neatly into one box, one of our resident behind-the-scenes geniuses at home suddenly hit me with a bombshell of a question

"Liv, did you happen to pack the business cards we're supposed to hand out at PF?"

That one short sentence hit like a bolt of lightning — I suddenly realized not a single member's business cards had made it into the package, and even worse, if nobody hauled them over to Forest Town, there wouldn't be any cards at ACE either (shaking, shaking, shaking)... so I ended up remote-controlling a relative to handle it (crying)

Honestly I'm still pretty on edge — Mama's the type who wants to handle everything herself, and this event happens to be one I can't personally attend, so I'm really worried something might go wrong and cause trouble for Little Sprite (like, say, the fact that the event's this weekend and some exhibitors are only just receiving their tickets today)

Hoping everything, absolutely everything, goes smoothly!

And then I noticed the studio next door is actually writing their logs in English?!

Are other languages going to start showing up too?!
