<Mama's Garden Management Log> 9/21/2022

Today marks 23 years since the 921 earthquake — I bet quite a few Somins weren't even around to experience it! Mama was still so tiny back then — I remember getting shaken all the way from the middle of the bed to the edge. Any longer and I probably would've fallen right off! On Monday's playthrough of Until Dawn, we talked about how hearing a music box in the dead of a quiet night just feels extra eerie... Then right as the earthquake hit, I heard my neighbor's music box crash to the floor and start tinkling away on its own — genuinely spooked me

The quakes these past few days have all been pretty strong, Mama's bolted out the door more than once. Hope everyone's staying safe During an earthquake, remember to take shelter by a load-bearing column — unless you're in a high-rise, in which case, well, you're not escaping anyway (just realized there's no strikethrough function here)

Just remembered — at my cousin's wedding on Sunday, my aunt, who's a professional makeup artist, actually complimented my own makeup, I was so happy! Been riding that compliment high all week~ hehe~
