Back From Europe Again!

Have you ever seen a hot latte served in a waffle cone?

There's this super popular café in Europe right now that pours hot lattes straight into a cone

and it doesn't get soggy at all!

The secret is that thick, slightly bittersweet layer of chocolate lining the inside of the cone

A latte cone isn't just an Instagram gimmick though

the latte inside is genuinely smooth and delicious

Cheers ( ´∀`)つt[ ]

Guess where we went this time?

Ta-da ✨✨✨ Dürnstein!

It's a little town famous for its wine, and it's actually pretty well known

so well known that Dürnstein is a UNESCO World Heritage site

All that yellow you see is grapevines! I honestly thought it was ginkgo trees at first lol

Because of the pandemic there are way fewer tourists in this little town right now

Walking through it, you can really feel the quiet and the charm (by "charm" I mean the part-timers lol)

It genuinely feels like stepping into a fairy tale

Plus there were these adorable little cars

I never get tired of Europe's cobblestone streets, honestly

But because of the pandemic the river cruise boats were running way less often too

so we never got the chance to ride one, which was such a bummer இдஇ

We hiked up a small hill to an old abandoned castle

and from up there you can see the whole town

I figured it was just a small "hill"

Turns out it took like 30-40 minutes to climb, and I was wearing boots ( ˘•ω•˘ )

The view from the top was genuinely gorgeous

but I'm afraid of heights...

I literally couldn't stand up anymore — I mean my legs, they gave out lol

Still, a view like that is worth it!

We happened to go in winter this time, so I'm hoping to make it back in summer

and this time actually catch a boat and hit some of the spots we missed

like the monastery and this one underground passage(?)

Alright, see you next time (●´ω`●)ゞ
