Don't Get a Haircut on a Whim in Winter

Made plans to grab dinner with friends this week~

Wanted to look cute for everyone~

Realized I hadn't taken care of my human-form hair in ages, so figured I should swing by the salon and use up some of the stuff on my membership card.

(Honestly Xuncao usually only gets a haircut in summer, but this summer was way too busy)

Got to the salon and my usual stylist happened to be slammed, so I figured, eh, anyone else should be fine too? Told them specifically — cut it to shoulder length, just long enough to still tie up~ They said sure, no problem, and took me back to wash my hair.

After the wash I got kind of sleepy so I closed my eyes for a bit, and when I opened them again — SUPER short. They'd gone and given me an inward curl too, smiling and saying, you can still do a low ponytail with this~ I just froze...

Like, the service really was great, super pleasant experience and all...

But it's SO cold out, and short hair is just brutal right now

Lesson learned: no more haircuts in winter...
