[Hikari's Izakaya Diary] The 3,000 Subscriber Milestone 8/13/2023

It's been three months since I joined SODAART, and I've finally hit my next big milestone—3,000 subscribers! Thank you all so much for sticking with me and supporting me along the way. I'm sure the next thousand will be here before we know it, right?!

For this week's journal, I wanted to start by sharing my thoughts on the collabs I've done with other VTubers over the past couple of months. To be honest, in the year or so I've been doing this, I haven't actually done that many collabs. I'm especially not a huge fan of gaming during collabs because it often feels like the audience gets left out. If the viewers aren't enjoying it and the stream flops, I just end up feeling pretty down about it. But this month, I've been part of so many collab projects that I absolutely loved and had a blast doing! These projects really showcased how much effort the organizers put into them, making it so easy and comfortable for me to just jump in and play along. My absolute favorite was definitely the "Breakfast with Sakura" collab. That might just be my favorite stream ever. The conversation flowed naturally, the entertainment value was totally there, and the pacing of the whole stream just felt incredibly comfortable. I still go back and watch the VOD, and I still catch myself laughing through it all XD. A huge thank you to all the friends who invited me to join their projects—you've made my streaming life so much more fun.

Next, I want to talk about my upcoming streaming plans. After two weeks of testing, I can confidently say that my new place is an absolute dream setup for streaming! Because of that, I can finally pour my heart and soul completely into my streams and content creation. I've basically been going all-out this past week prepping for streams and working on other creative projects. It's exhausting, but at the same time, I really feel like I'm leveling up! Starting in mid-August, I'll be rolling out some brand new projects. This includes some entertaining collabs, as well as a secret project I've been wanting to do for a long time. I can't wait to reveal it all to you guys later this month, and I really hope you love it!

Finally, to celebrate hitting 3,000 subscribers, there are a few things I want to say. Looking back at how far I've come, I'm incredibly proud of what I've achieved. But more than anything, I'm just so grateful to every single friend and viewer who has stuck by me. I'm endlessly thankful that you chose to believe in me, understand me, and get to know the real VTuber behind the screen through our genuine interactions. There was a time when my primary focus in streaming was just figuring out how to pull in more traffic and hit better numbers. But now, I have another reason to keep going that I could never let go of—and that's all of you. It's getting late, so let me be a little cheesy just this once XD.
