This story deserves a second round of complaining in this week's diary. So there I was, happily planning to grab a little hot pot for lunch (160 TWD), thought I'd treat myself modestly and keep it light, ordered a duck blood and intestine hot pot...

What the actual fork is that?????? What in the world happened to those enoki mushrooms? I do my own grocery shopping — a whole pack of enoki costs like 9 to 12 TWD. So can someone explain what happened to justify giving me this measly little clump? That can't cost more than 50 cents!? Would it kill you to give me a little more!? Why so stingy, I genuinely think this owner doesn't know how to run a business...

Yes! I'm dedicating a whole third paragraph to this! Life is hard enough already without getting disrespected by enoki mushrooms of all things! I've decided — this weekend I'm buying braised food and dumping in an entire pack of enoki myself, just to feel something. I'm so mad enoki mushrooms are basically sprouting out of my head at this point lol!

One more thing to share this week — the Taiwan VTuber Cage Battle Royale over the weekend. I'd quietly hoped that after sweeping both titles at the last Taiwan VTuber Triathlon, I could ride that momentum into another win here, but I ended up so swamped I had zero time to practice lol, went in completely raw. Still, the whole thing was a blast! Really happy 小梅 invited me to team up for this one — turns out which game genre you're good at makes a huge difference www. Kind of embarrassing that I made such an aggressive-looking thumbnail and then didn't even make it past the qualifiers. Still, big thanks to everyone who showed up to cheer me on that day~ (Ugh, whatever the next competition is, I am absolutely training hard for it next time!)
